Created by Medical Legal Software with assistance from the Institute of Materials in London, the Materials, Science and Engineering Dictionary contains over 20,000 specialist terms.
Starting with terms related to the extraction and processing of raw materials, it has minerals, geology, physics and chemistry, chemical engineering and terms from similar areas of work. See a selection of the words from the dictionary.
Aimed at practical scientists who need to know a wide range of terms from related disciplines, it includes all the basic scientific terms, mathematical expressions and elements. On top of this there is an extensive list of polymers, organic and inorganic compounds, plus the processes and procedures used to create them.
